About Me

Raised in Denver, I recently graduated with an M.S. in mechanical engineering, with a focus in design, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. My research and coursework focused on user-centered design and product development. As an undergraduate student, I received a B.S. in math and physics at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. My interest in design motivated me to pursue post-baccalaureate work in engineering and a Masters in engineering design, and a mentor of mine at Bates College reinforced that interest and encouraged me to apply to the engineering college at CU Boulder.

My interests predominantly revolve around biomedical design and/or R & D as I would like to know that the work I do goes on to benefit someone else.

Whether leading a group of high school students up Mt. Kilimanjaro, or heli-skiing in British Columbia, I relish time in the outdoors. During time away from my studies and work, I enjoy recreating as a hiker, mountain biker, and skier in the Colorado outdoors.
